Hello there, fellow farmers! Today was an exciting day for our family as we made our way out to the farm to check on the progress of our new home. As we approached, I couldn't help but feel a rush of excitement as I gazed upon the view I would enjoy standing in front of our future kitchen sink. And let us not forget about the dishwasher. I know it may sound silly, but after three years of washing dishes by hand, the prospect of a dishwasher has us giddy with anticipation.
The plumber came out a few days ago to rough-in the plumbing, but to our surprise, he noticed that the orientation of the house had been put down wrong. It was our first building mistake, but thankfully it was a quick fix and our building company handled it well. Today, we were happy to see that the plumbing and electric work had been completed and everything was in place.
We are also grateful to have our brother-in-law, Daniel, coming into town on Monday to help us put down the road. It's a relief to have someone with experience to guide us through the process, and we're excited to have the road in place before the concrete trucks arrive.
As always, the kids had a blast exploring the farm and climbing around. Bear even staked her claim on her room and picked out one for her little brother as well. It's amazing to see their excitement and enthusiasm for this new adventure.
We've included a few photos from today's trip for you all to enjoy. Thanks for following along with us on our journey. Until next time!
